Rules for Cosplay Craftsmanship Event
All cosplays must abide by the rules of the convention.
Printed visual references for character and construction may be turned in with application but not required. PLEASE MAKE SURE YOUR REFERENCES ARE DISPOSABLE. If you would like to pick up the references after the event that is fine, but we are not responsible for keeping your items past Saturday evening and after that they will be disposed of.
All purchased pieces must be disclosed on entry form. Your cosplay must be at least 75% constructed by you.
If you did not make the costume but the person who did is in attendance, then the costume may be entered by the one who made it. This means both model and creator will also need to be present for judging and any award will be given to the maker rather than the model.
The General division is for cosplay crafters with beginner to intermediate level
experience. If you have won one or two awards at other conventions, you may
enter this division rather than the Masters Division.
The Masters division is for those cosplayers who have extensive experience crafting
and who have perhaps won several awards previously at other conventions. If you
have not won any awards previously, but have skill at crafting in general, I would
encourage you to consider this division as well.
If you have won 3+ awards for cosplay at other conventions, please enter
